SURF LESSONS

5 x semi-private, 2 hour surf lessons *including transportation time* . Lessons can be booked Monday through Saturday.

Only 2 students per instructor to ensure a safe and fun experience tailored to your level.

BOARD RENTAL
Custom-shaped Roger Ramirez Surfboards are included with your surf package to use during the class. All boards are made with high-end materials. From shortboards to longboards, we carry all shapes and sizes, ideal for every skill level, that are specifically shaped for riding waves in Oaxaca. Volcom rash guards are provided as well.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation to and from the beach is provided for surf lessons. All you have to do is meet up at our surf school. We take care of the rest from here!
PHOTO ANALYSIS
A group photo session is included in your surf package to capture your surfing evolution. Bring a USB and take your photos home with you.
Every Saturday, our coaches conduct a photo analysis of each student, where you get to learn in more detail about what you're doing right and how you can improve your form.
SURF FITNESS
Morning and evening yoga classes from Tuesday to Friday under our top roof palapa at La Barca Surf House. Enjoy panoramic sunset views of Puerto Escondido, while improving your health and vitality. This program is designed to improve general fitness and enhance your surfing performance.
COMMUNITY BENEFITS
Every Monday evening, we host a Welcome Activity where you get a chance to meet other students enrolled at Oasis. An Oasis staff member will also share tons of useful information regarding Puerto Escondido, its surroundings and the different activities you will have along the week.
Discounts to Café Nopal and Oasis Surf Shop are included in your package as well.
STAY
All Surf Packages come with the option of staying in one of our suites or private apartments at one of our Surf Houses, at a discounted rate. Our accommodations are perfect for couples, friends, or solo travelers. Amenities include access to our pools and green spaces, daily housekeeping, private and communal kitchens, wifi, and air conditioning. View our rooms to see which surf house is right for you.
BEGINNER
We start with the fundamentals. As a beginner, you will learn everything from understanding the ocean, surf theory, how to paddle effectively, pop up and ride your first waves.
Our instructors are in the water with you at all times to keep you safe. With countless hours in the water and students of all levels, our instructors ensure you are in the perfect spot to catch waves suitable for your level and to make sure you are having fun!

INTERMEDIATE
So you've perfected your pop-up and you can ride down the line, but you're still having trouble reading and catching waves on your own.
Our intermediate lessons will help you improve with placement in the lineup, reading waves at various breaks, board positioning, perfecting your bottom turn and how to surf more effectively to get the most out of your waves.
ADVANCED
The Oaxacan coast is full of secret spots with some of the most consistent conditions. From sand bottom point breaks to barreling beach breaks, our day trips are perfect for advanced surfers looking for epic waves on deserted beaches.
