Our homestays are a great opportunity to improve your Spanish daily and immerse yourself in an authentic Oaxacan family lifestyle.
What to Expect
In your homestay, you will always speak Spanish. The homestay includes 2 meals each day; usually breakfast and a second meal. Meals are a great opportunity to sit around the kitchen table with your host family and practice your Spanish while you delight yourself with traditional Oaxacan food.
Homestays also include a private bedroom and in many cases, a private bathroom as well. The family that is going to receive you is used to hosting students, so all families are very friendly, open and welcoming.
The School will send you all information related to your host family, once you have sign up for the program and prior to your arrival. If you have any dietary restrictions or any allergies, please let us know in advance so we can let the family know as well.
