La Barca Surf House is home to 11 unique suites, designed to accommodate a wide range of guests, from small groups, couples and solo travellers.
Surrounded by palms and lush greenery, our pool is the perfect setting to sunbathe and relax. Our common area includes a fully stocked kitchen and dining area, perfect for socializing with guests.
At sunset, wind down with yoga and enjoy panoramic views of Puerto Escondido from our palapa.

With ocean views from your own hammock, Balconada was designed for guests to enjoy the elements of Puerto Escondido from the comfort of their suite. Rest easy in this bright and spacious studio, with a queen size bed, kitchen bathroom and breathtaking terrace. Perfect for couples and solo travellers.
Luxury apartment. The main floor includes a master bedroom with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom, two terraces (one facing the pool and the other overlooking the street) and a study. The second floor includes a half bath and a large kitchen that opens up to a private terrace overlooking the pool. The kitchen comes with two ovens, a gas range, large fridge and a pantry for dry goods. The dining area includes a table carved from a tree that seats six.
LA BITACORA
Perfect for one person or two friends. La Bitacora features two single beds, a mini fridge, coffee maker, and private bathroom. Located on the main floor and next to the pool, this suite shares the fully equipped kitchen in the common area.
EL TIMÓN
Perfect for one person or couples, this comfortable suite features a double bed, a mini fridge, coffee maker, and private bathroom. Located on the main floor and next to the pool, this suite shares the fully equipped kitchen in the common area.
LA ESCOLLERA
Perfect for friends travelling in groups of two, La Escollera features a private bathroom and a bedroom with two single beds, closet space a mini fridge and coffee maker. A private terrace overlooks the streets or Rinconada. This suite shares the fully equipped kitchen in the common area.
NAUTILUS
Located above the common area, this large suite is perfect for solo travellers and couples. It features a queen size bed, lots of closet space, a mini fridge and coffee maker, a private terrace and a bathroom. Nautilus shares the kitchen in the common area.
